Kees and I founded Stroud Micro Dairy to regenerate soils on land bought by the community of Stroud, and supply Stroud with hyper local food. We pioneered new systems inspired by traditional practices like mobile milking, honesty boxes and calf at foot and practiced regenerative agriculture. We won awards for our produce and our way of farming. Stroud Micro Dairy became the first community owned dairy in the UK and is still run by and for the community of Stroud, led by a team of highly skilled and creative young farmers.
