Victory March (2019-ongoing) watercolour, ink and crayon

Heartfelt and humorous graphic novel about taming grief, defeating depression and conquering motherhood. I began Victory March (first working title ‘The Cunty Bollocks Club’) after loosing my son Bas to meningitis whilst visiting friends in Berlin, and when Bas was 10 months old. The graphic novel, sketched out in its entirety, is a painterly world of ink, pastel and watercolor, magical surrealism and cinematographic sequences.
